As collector William Arnett says in the film, “Lonnie Holley is a 24/7 art making machine.” When he is in a car or an airplane and other materials are not to hand, he uses his phone to photograph and create digital works which he posts to his personal Facebook page. One time I asked Lonnie to just empty his phone onto my desktop. Over 1,000 photographs, works-in-progress, graphic designs, and artworks came tumbling out.
Here is a small sample. In future we will update and replace these images with new stuff. You get a running snapshot of what Lonnie is seeing, capturing, and modifying in all sorts of ways. Check back.
